Crossing borders is sometimes a most difficult job. Which border would you abolish immediately?

Dr. Hendrik Schott: The mental (and digital) border between the national media landscapes in the EU 28. We need a European public sphere instead of our national filter bubbles.

Creating the future needs priorities: What is the most important task the EU is facing in the next years?

Dr. Hendrik Schott: It is essential to establish mechanisms that will provide workable solutions/compromises regarding highly controversial issues such as migration and fiscal discipline. A “one size fits all” approach will only intensify the political polarisation within the EU.
