Participants and Requirements

Thank you very much for your interest in the European GSI Summer School from 11th to 20th September 2020.

Participating in this course can give you a unique possibility to deepen your knowledge of the wide-range issues of European integration. Within an international group of about 60 young Europeans and EU-interested people from various fields and countries, you will attend a varied program of lectures, discussions and a simulation game with the aim of mutual exchange of European perspectives. During the trip to Luxembourg and Brussels, you can engage in dialogue with members of EU institutions and NGO's.

Due to the requests of young Europeans and EU-interested students coming from different countries to participate the Summer School we have designed a certain procedure.

-    Registration deadline: 31.5.2020
-    Your CV
-    Your “letter of motivation” telling us more about your wish to participate.

The “letter of motivation” might be a letter. But we also welcome other ways to express your ideas concerning Europe, the European Cooperation. For instance an article, a video, a blog post or a series of pictures.

The selection of participants for the 31th European GSI Summer School will be made in June. We will inform you as soon as possible, if you should be one of our participants.

The Summer School is supported by various institutions, which are funding the program. Your share of the participation fee will be 690 EUR. This fee includes all expenses of the 10 days program, accommodation and catering in Bonn, Luxemburg and Brussels, travel expenses from Bonn to Luxembourg and Brussel and vice versa.
