Mission and Structure

As a non-profit and non-partisan institution, we foster dialogue between society, politics and the economy.

Our Values and Our Path

Since its founding in 1959, the Gustav Stresemann Institute has continuously evolved. Named after Nobel Peace Prize laureate Gustav Stresemann, his commitment to international dialogue continues to shape our work today. Stresemann was honoured alongside his French counterpart Aristide Briand. As a result the German-French understanding holds a special place in the educational programme of the GSI. Explore the history of an institution that shapes the future.
